HIMEL Continues Global Rollout of X Series VSD with Successful Oman Launch
Muscat, Oman – Following successful launches in China, Algeria, and the UAE, HIMEL has continued the global rollout of its next-generation X Series Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) with a successful introduction to customers and partners in Oman. The launch represents another important milestone in HIMEL's global "I Love Control" campaign, which celebrates the people and technologies that enable greater control, efficiency, and confidence in industrial operations.
The Oman launch brought together a strong mix of panel builders, EPC contractors, system integrators, OEM’s, distributors, consultants, and industrial end users, reflecting the growing interest in advanced motor control solutions across the Sultanate. More than just a product introduction, the event served as a platform for customers and partners to connect with HIMEL experts, exchange industry insights, and discuss the evolving needs of Oman’s industrial automation, infrastructure, and water sectors.
The strong turnout and high level of engagement throughout the event highlighted the importance of collaboration in addressing key challenges such as energy efficiency, productivity, operational reliability, and system integration. At the centre of the event was the new X Series VSD platform, developed to provide customers with greater flexibility, control, and reliability. The portfolio includes the XH Series for general industrial applications and the XP Series for fan and pump applications, covering power capacities from 0.4 kW to 185 kW. Designed to support both synchronous and asynchronous motors, the X Series incorporates advanced control capabilities that enable precise and efficient motor performance across diverse operating environments.
The X Series has been engineered with reliability and ease of use in mind. Features such as coated PCBs, dust-shield protection, optimized cooling channels, wide voltage tolerance, and support for leading industrial communication protocols help customers improve uptime and simplify integration into existing automation systems. The platform is further enhanced by X Studio, HIMEL’s intelligent commissioning and monitoring software, which streamlines configuration, diagnostics, and maintenance activities.
