Himel Empowers Future Electrical Talent in Mongolia Through Skills Competition and Industry Collaboration
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia — Himel has officially signed a corporation agreement with the Electrical, Communication and Automation Engineers Association of Mongolia (ECAEA), marking a significant step in the company’s ongoing corporate social responsibility in Mongolia. The partnership aims to support young technical talent, promote electrical safety awareness and strengthen practical learning for the next generation of electrical professionals.
Held alongside 2026 Barilga Expo, one of Mongolia’s leading construction industry platforms, bringing together students, educators and industry professionals through hands-on training sessions, technical exchanges, and comprehensive electrical skills competitions. The program was organized with the support of Himel’s authorized distributor NOVA and the ECAEA, a respected professional organization dedicated to developing skilled talent, advancing technical knowledge and strengthening cooperation across Mongolia’s electrical, communication, automation, fire alarm and safety sectors.
Building on the cooperation framework established between Himel and ECAEA, the partnership created a valuable platform for students to bridge classroom learning with real-world electrical applications. Education partners including Construction Polytechnic College, Mongolia University, Khentii Eastern Province Polytechnic college also participated, further reinforcing the initiative’s focus on youth empowerment and industry-academia collaboration.

One of the key highlights of the initiative was the student electrical skills competition, where young participants demonstrated their technical capabilities through practical challenges and installation tasks. The program concluded with an award ceremony recognizing the champion with a certificate and exclusive Himel prize package, celebrating both outstanding performance and the potential of Mongolia’s future electrical professionals.

“At Himel, we strongly believe that empowering young talent is essential to building a safer and more sustainable electrical industry for the future. Throughout the program, Himel supported a range of educational activities including laboratory and training facility engagement, practical installation simulations, electrical safety lectures and technical skills competition. Himel’s Electrical Installation Training System was showcased on site as an interactive learning point, allowing students and visitors to gain deeper understanding of safe, standardized and reliable electrical installation practices.

Through this initiative, Himel reaffirmed its commitment to creating long-term social value within the communities where it operates. By supporting technical education, practical skills development and electrical safety awareness, Himel aims to contribute to a stronger local talent pipeline and a more capable, sustainable electrical industry ecosystem in Mongolia.
